Gateway Additional Lanes - Depot Road Deagon

Multifix completed the final stage of this challenging project mid 2014. Construction on the bridge was undertaken in three distinct stages.

The first stage was the construction of half of the new southbound bridge and the new Depot Road off ramp bridge. Once this was completed traffic was switched onto the new section.

Stage two was the demolition of the old northbound bridge and a new wider northbound structure build in its place.

The final stage was the demolition of the old southbound bridge and completing the second half of the new southbound bridge undertaken in stage one. At the same time the existing Depot Road bridge is being widened.

The project was challenging due to the tight site and the proximity to the live Gateway Arterial Road.
